Dark is the Anti-Light

In the beginning God said, “Let there be light.”  To me this means that the default position for the world and Gods’s plan for us it to be in the light.  Sure I understand that evening comes – but even the darkest night is follwed by the dawn.  In my life i desire more light.  In the dark I always seem to stub my toe, fall,hit my head, bleed and end up @ Memorial Hospital….

The Anti-dark is always creeping in.  But when the match is struck, the Anti-dark flees.  So let your light shine for you AND for others.  Some don;t have a light and they need yours!

The Finger of God

What finger?  He has no body – yet He touches.

The breath of God that breathes life into dust.

The eyes of God that cry at your sin.

The feet of the Father that run to the prodigal.

The heart of Jesus that breaks when you sin.

Father -  Thank you.

Some Like it Hot

That’s such a cool title that it got your attention.  It seems before we buy what’s in the store we must be captivated by what’s in the window.  This generation is walking the mall of society at such a harried pace that unless you capitalize on the golden 2 seconds you’ll never have the opportunity to present the present and exhale the breathe of the living God into their collapsed lungs.

Some like it hot – I like mine WAY hot.

Hot music.  Hot cars.  Hot women (my wife is who I’m talking about).  Hot art and a HOT Gospel.

Come on Church – Heat it up or we’ll loose ‘em.  Grab their attention = press the envelope = take a toke of the Holy Ghost, go ahead and INHALE the goodness of God and experience a red hot high of The Most High.
